That looks really nice but my screen is 10.4" and i can't fit it in the dash since i have a 97 A4 so i wanted to put it where the sunroof goes. Can i have the computer in the trunk and run the wires through the roof?

 

sure you can run the wires anywhere you want. I would not suggest the roof though, cuz the headliner is a real pita to get back into the car. But if you have no choice, it's not an impossible job.

 

Do you have any suggestions of how else i can mount it? Perhaps create some type of a bracket so i can attach it and remove it right in frint of the deck?

 

wow - its a big screen. why you wanna go that big? its going to look enormous, draw the attention of police (definitely), and take up most the the center dash area if you put it there. My only suggestion is to go with a smaller screen.

 

I dropped in a 8.5" Lilliput Touchscreen on a flexible gooseneck. Mounted it to the floor on passanger side. PC in the trunk. GPS, MP3, Movies. It's just low enough so its out of sight from other drivers. Turned out nice. Chek Ebay for Arkon stands, I think thats the name, or run a search for gooseneck mount.
