HAHA.. Mason (socals4driver) is obviously technically
gifted enough to perform this mod (he'd installed his turbo timer / guages / bipipe etc etc.)
so i thought he'd do fine.. plus he's local & can lend me a hand bec. im all thumbs...

anyone here have stiffer aftermarket engine or tranny mounts so i can get some feedback? hopefuly my tires will have more traction and bodyweight won't shove so much to the back when i floor the gas pedal

Nam - ive got Rs4 mounts.. & APR snub mount..
both are great...

 

I was told that the APR snub mount makes the car vibrate like a lonely housewife......not true?

seriously - if done correctly you shouldnt notice any vibration.. I've read Ppl shaving off a
bit to get it to fit right & avoid the vibration - but it wasnt needed w/ my application.

Actually, I've been working my butt off and didn't make it back home tonight until after 9pm, and I was in Phoenix for the day yesterday. Jason......... do you REALLY feel a difference with the mounts? i'm only getting the tranny mount for now cause i heard it'll make the biggest difference compared to the engine mounts........... can because i'm broke........ =(

not getting the part til tue, so hopefully it'll be in by the gtg........... hopefully.....
