September 2006 SoCal GTG
Seems like we can't settle on what to do after the GTG & lunch. I propose we go KARTING!!!!!!!!!!
There's an indoor track nearby spectrum thats open on Sunday. Races are $20 for 14 laps. It'll be a great oppotunity to go postal on eachother while keeping our insurance rates low and sparing the lives of others.

OK. Just got off the phone. If you want to do a group event, it'll be $45 per person which will include:
14 Lap Qualifying
16 Lap Final
The lady also said we can just do arrive and drive and sign up for a heat with up to 12 drivers which will still be $20 per person. I think this would be the best option.

D'oh!!! I'll give them a call and see what I can do to guarantee that audiforums get the first few races full grid. ALso, they offer all the race gear you need. I believe the only things you need are:

I haven't been to Dromo1 but I've heard that the track is pretty slick. The one I usually goto is Adam's Kart Track in Riverside which is a asphalt track which provides better grip. K1 is an asphalt indoor track which should recreate the karting experience. However, these karts at K1 are electric with one big disadvantage... their A$$ heavy and love to oversteer. Of course, there's a remedy to this limitiation... I'll demonstrate it to you all on sunday [sm=badbadbad.gif]
