Service manual opinions? book vs CD
I'm in the process of purchasing a service manual for my 2000 A4 and would like some opinions from people. Pros and cons about book vs CD. They are both around the same price.
My intial thought is that it would be nice to have my book with me while working on the car.
Thanks for reading,

CD's are 10 times more indepth than the book. But the book is very nice to have when you are working on the car. You can always use a laptop if you have that option. even though the book is 1500+ pages it covers all models of a4 with each engine code having its own area. So if you actually took out what you are using and made one book it might be 300-400 pages if that.
Personally I own the bentely manual and I also have a copy of AESIS (CD's) so I use both - CD's are hard to navigate but you learn

Thanks for your input. I have always only had books on other cars. Perhaps its time to move to CD's. Sounds like most of that service manual is useless when it has other models in it.
