Default SHORT & LONG Oil Dipstick Funnel - What is the difference???

Well, the clowns at purems.com sent me the wrong oil dipstick funnel for my A4 ... they sent me the short one. So I called them and told them that I needed a longer one for my 2002 A4. They said that both are for a 2002 A4, but one is for the models earlier in the production year ... is that true? Can someone expound on why there is a short and long one? Thanks.

That's my thought ... suddenly a $6.00 part is becoming a $40.00 part because of shipping and their screw up. I'm going to call and email them every week until they do something about it ... I ain't getting shafted by these losers.
