Have you tried any short shifters out in someone else's car?
What are you looking for from the short shifter?

Any thing other than the DIY short shifter is going to feel better.
If you just want to reduce the throw and shorten the shifter, do a DIY short shifter.
If you want somthing that feels tighter and reduces throw get any one of them.
I don't think any one is better than the other. There just isn't that many places to make improvements.

Buy a $20 to $50 SS from Ebay. I haven't ever heard anyone complain about them. I bought a $15 el cheapo SS and it's great. No slop in the shifts and feels precise and tight.

 

i hvae hd some bad luck from cheap parts off ebay i would like to stay with a big company. Im think B&M.

 

riddler i think youd know whether or not you have a short shifter. if the throws arent short and tight, then you most likely dont. did you not ask what mods were done to the car when you bought it?

 

I don't have a short shifter and I don't have the push down reverse.

 

i ordered the B&M today.

 

tell us how it is man. i am debating on that whole issue... but then again i am trying to stay away from parts that will make me a more aggressive driver.

 

I have a b&m, its amazing.

 

i wil be sure to post about it when its installed. I have work thurs,fri, sat so i think i will be installing it on sunday. If i can get it on wednsday

 

personally i like t push down. Its unique. But B+M is what i want
