Not too bad for 4k, miles are high, but if you can test drive it and look it over, and it comes with a t3t4, I say why not?

I've seen it on Craigslist, I live in Gardnerville and he's in Reno/Fernley. He has dropped the price from $5,500 to $4,000 since he put it on, I think about a month ago. You won't have to have it smogged since you live in Nv., well depending on what countyso that might not be an issue for you. Where are you located?

oil change every 3 thousand miles.......with a 1.8t he should used synthetic oil and would then only change every 5 thousand. I would look into that. I don't know how big of a difference I makes as I have a 2.8 but you should talk to other 1.8t guys.

worst case scenario if u buy it and its a piece, part it out and make ur money back. but thats a pain in the @$$ so make sure u carfax it and make sure all the parts are quality parts and ask if he has the service records.
also about the frequent oil changes, i change mine every 3k and i use synthetic so it is possible that he does the same

Ok, so I went to check out the car it was in good cosmeticed shape, But when i tested drove it ABS, AIRBAG, CHECK ENGINE, as well as E Brake light were all on, He said something about the straight pipes affecting check engine, and some other mubo jombo that I couldnt understand about the other lights...What do I do? Its a nice car, I like it it pulls good and hard engine sounds good(not the pipes tho bleh[:@]) What to do, What to do....
