looks sick, esp with the nav system sounds like a pretty good deal. But ya make sure the timing belt is done

Actually, go to a proper dealer and ask for a maintainance schedule...then get
the seller to prove that all that's been done. Generally all cars come with a booklet
for keeping maintainance records/proofs signed and sealed by the dealer/mechanic
who did the checking. you'll find this booklet in the owner's maual packet.
Good luck!

Could I just go to an Audi dealer with the vin and have them run what service has been done to the car?

I'm not actually sure about that, but I'm almost positive that you won't be able to.
Lemme try to find out more and let you know!

ok well I just called Audi and talked to service about the car giving them the vin. They can only check on things up until the warranty ran out. So it seemed to be brought in for the 10k, 20k and so on right on time give or take a couple thousand. There were quite a few maintenances on the car but none of them seemed to be engine or tranny related. They replace the front and rear brakes at 42k and they brought it in for a wiper, speaker, turn signal and something else I can't remember.

the price doesn't seem to bad at all but get them to do the timing belt on this car for sure if it hasn't been done

well just found another same color and year. 6000 more miles and only difference is it has a sunroof but no nav, no bose, no heated seats and no back up sensors. However, I could probably get this one for 17k and he has all the maitenance records as he is the original owner. Does this sound better?
