Default Should I buy an Audi?

Hello im new to this forum. Im 17 and have had my licence for 6 months. I just sold my 1994 piece of crap ford explorer. I have $5000 and ive had my eye on this 1997 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro with leather and a stick shift. It has 131,000 miles. Does this car still have alot of life left? Is it worth buying, they are asking 4700 b/o?

Thanks alot,
Stephen

your best bet with this car would be spend the $100 take it to your local Audi dealer and let them check it out and see what it is going to need in repairs also check the maintance records see if he has kept up with everything

^^^What he said.

German cars are more expensive to maintain than some others, so you want to make sure that you arne't starting off in a big hole.

i think i would go for 1.8t's seems pretty reliable, its a little to old to start modding, but get it check out and ift hey say ur fine u will be good to go. I dont think the 97 1.8t had an option for real leather, its some type of fake stuff.

Its called leatherette, and it doesnt feel like vinyl or any other type of leather simulator. I think it looks awesome, it wont dry out and crack, but it can tear over time if you dont take care of it.
