if you going to paint them anything it can't be flat black, i think it would look a lot better glossy on your car

yeah, try that, paint it with a flat black first see how it looks, and then paint a clear coat over it to make it glossy this way you can see how both look, and if you like the flat just sand the gloss downa nd paint another flat coat

This is what i did when i painted my scion wheels
4 cans of flat black Dupli Color, and 2 cans of Glossy Clear Coat Duplicolor ~$35
to get the wheels ready i washed them all off with regular soap... and then blasted them with Parts Wash degreaser. then scuffed them up with a scorch brite pad, taped off the tires and went at it with the paint. first satin black, then a glossy clearcoat... hope you all like the outcome... i love it... it looks perfect from even 2 feet... but any closer you can tell it was a makeshift job lol.

those are my personal fave wheels on audis, but its all weather or not you got the $$$

i would deff save money for those wheels, but if you don't have it right now, i would paint the stocks a charcoal color, and then use them as winter wheels if that is a season in your area.
