I'm considering selling or trading in my A4. I'm thinking if I sell it privately, KBB tells me stock private party value is 29k. This obviously doesnt take into account the 6-8k in mods already done to the car.

Do you think 30k would be out of the question for private party sale as the car is now with the mods in the sig minus the oettinger wheels?

Obviously if I trade it in, I'll be converting back to stock (as much as possible anyway) and will get considerably less. Opinions? thoughts? offers?

 

What are you going to replace it with?

 

Any idea of what you'll be lookin for next if you do sell?
30k is within reach if you find the right buyer, maybe someone who knows a little bit.

seems like a fine deal, ur car is in great condition it seems so people would look at the mods as a plus, rather than some like modded eclipse or something

If I can get the financing I want from these guys I may keep both for a while, and sell privately. It'll be tight but should be doable. Just have to stop eating out and go back to making food at home lol

On an open market, typically modded carts bring in LESS money than plain stock cars. Check edmunds.com as well for the value of your cart, and average the value from KBB and edmunds. this should give you a reasonable price for the car.

 

oh yeah, the car was purchased certified pre owned so she's under factory warranty until 100k miles as well
