I am insatlling smoked side markers and teh write up ( https://www.audiforums.com/m_72708/tm.htm ) say i need to buy an amber bulb. Is it a special bulb type or can i get it at my local auto zone or pep boys?

 

i would think u can get it at any local shop. what i think you should do is find out what kind of bulb it is, and dont put amber, put a clear white bulb, prolly look better when turning

 

there are already clear white bulbs in there b/c the housing is amber. So u say just replace the outside.

 

yea man, i wouldnt put amber on the side, that looks stock when turning

 

Yeah i recently changed my sidemakers also to smoked and i suggest that you use amber bulbs not the white bulbs it doesnt look good when turning cuz your coners use ambers as well and it looks ghetto with amber coners and white sidemakers
