Am I better off buying some decent quality mufflers and having a muffler shop bend some pipe or should I save up for the high quality stuff

Depends if your going S/c then save up get the sc and then have a go at some of the exhaust made for the s/c.

If you go custome 2.5-3 inch pipes your going to loose your bottom end torque.

95% of my driving is highway, so I am not too concerned with bottom end.

I just need a slight jump in performance..
