hey guys hows it goin? i need some help deciding what to do with the brake system on my car. its an 02 a4 turbo quattro with titronic.....damn thats a long title. any way the brakes are making a real loud grinding/gripping sound from the rear pads. and when i go i guess a little to fast and try to slow down real quick the brakes fade. i want to put slotted or drilled rotors and ceramic pads on the car but dont want to go over 500 bucks can someone help me? thanks.

love that grinding,might as well get the brembo's off e bay,if ceramic can be used with drill slot get 'em.i'm ready to do the same.the v.w. audi brakes have always felt a little soft to me.

Find a B5 S4 front brake kit... used. I have seen them sell complete for 250 bucks US (calipers, pads, carriers, and rotors)...
Just replace the rears with OEM... or something fairly cheap. Front brakes is where you spend the $$$.

well they are not overdue for a replacement they are new in the rear just bought the car 4 months ago and the stealership relplace front and rear with cheap *** pads im assuming
