Default slow take off

I have a 2002 A4 with 50,000 miles. I was just wondering if it was normal to take 5-8 seconds before thecar starts toput some power to the ground. I don't race,I just want it to get out of it's own way.

Just city driving. The only time I open it up 3/4 - full is when it's not wanting to move.

drive the car hard every once in awhile... the computer adapts to your driving style and will be sluggish if you just putz around town, Floor it getting on the freeway and open it up run it to red line and the computer will eventually learn that you want to be able to get on it and the power will come back.

I haven't chipped mine yet im looking at the APR one tho and i have only heard good things from them. Im saving me money to do suspension rims and chip. but when i do i will get the APR one cuz they have a place by me so then i dont have to send my ECU to them. when you chip it tho dont forget to get a new better DV
