Oh boy.. So I get in the A4 to test drive it, and I look at the passenger mirror only to notice a mirror half the size of the driver side. Is there a normal sized mirror replacement?

One thing I noticed while driving.. Popping into 1st takes a little work, there was some odd smell, I dunno if that was me burning the clutch or oil burning. Any ideas? I should be picking up the car tommorow if I get registration and insurance done tommorow.

ah beat me to it miked, just get a 99.5 replacement...hard shifting + burnt smell=soon to be fvcked clutch, possibly.

 

Ah had a feeling.

Any idea where I could get the 99.5 replacement? Or should I just go to the dealer and get one there.

 

You could try a junkyard. I dunno if other places sell them, maybe someone else knows.

is it hard to get into gear? becuase if so it might be the syncro sp? but it it smells and when you floor it the rmps climb way faster then they should then yoru clutch is slipping and you need to get a new one soon

 

is it hard to shift in to first when stopped? usually if you are traveling over 15-20 it will be tough to shift in to first
