smell?

Default smell?
when i usualy drive my car a little harder then cruising mode. i smell something almost like rubber burning. not as strong though. somehing from the engine. is this normal?. by the way its a 1999 quattro manual.

how much for a new clutch? how do i know when its totaly out? and also do all audis clutch engage as high as mine?

toasty clutch mate. go into 5th gear at a medium rpm (maby 2.5-3k) and see when you mash it if the RPM's raise faster than the speed.

yep if that happens u deff need a clutch

put the shifter into 4th or 5th gear and give it pretty much full throttle. if the revs shoot up like crazy, u need a new clutch
