Default Snake noise... HELP

Ok... so as of lately I have been hearing this noise from my car... I think its coming from the DV. When I first did the install of the custom intake I got the clearn psshhhh sound. Then just the other day it started to make this snake noise, kind of like the greddy BOV rattle snake thing. I just went under the car and couldn't really see anything that looked loose or that was disconnected.

Also on a side note I saw some oil... I think not sure but whatever part of my engine that is right in the middle of the lower part of my car... like if you looking straigth up in the middle, had some wet stuff on it... Ideas PLEASE!!!

Check behind the engine and around the coolant resivior area for broken vaccum lines or check valves, when a check valve or vaccum T goes out it can make all kinds of stupid noises.

so this morning when driving to work I turned off my music and tried to listen real carefully. I think that its somewhere in the turbo line or something cause when my turbo 'spools' i can just hear it like its sucking wind... it doesn't make that spool sound anymore, or very little. Then when I let off the gas it makes that rattle snake noise. Could someone please direct me to where this 'line' might be or tube whatever please?

Sounds like you are describing DV flutter. If your valve is adjustable, you probably either need to increase the tension on the spring, or use a stiffer spring. If its the stock valve or 710N type, it might be shot. Might be a the DV vac line, but if not, theres no reason you sholdnt buy my DV!

thanks onepoint! I guess that would make sense, I thought it was maybe something that was coming apart/loose but I couldn't find anything, guess I'll order that forge007 now!!! and see if that fixes the problem.

ummmm and as for that snake... I HATE snakes soooo freaking bad, btw... that thing would have froze this morning here in steamboat seeing as it snowed!
