Default snubagge!

installed my snub today, i got it from greedspeed.

it tightens things up alot, only questions i have is if there's a break in period? does it get softer after a couple hundred miles?

it vibrates a little bit, but if it gets a bit softer over time im pretty sure it will go away.

driving impressions: as most people know, it feels differenet, but its hard to explain, id defantly say its worth the 20 buks

i installed it while i was replacing my blown k03 with another one, didnt have the money to upgrade, i got it all for 150 buks.. not bad

Sorry to sound ignorant, but what's a snub? I'm still new with Audis and with car work in general...

mounts that are supposed to take vibration out of the shifter. Some say it helps reduce loss power transfer loss. I've only run stock, so have never experienced in any of this in Audi's. When I was an air-cooled junky many years ago, they had similar items and it seemed to help.

I really didn't experience all the greatness when I popped in the greedspeed snub.

To me, the car and shifts feel almost identical, not like the writeups all suggested...the shifts still feel sort of "stock soft".

The shifter movement is still there when on/off the throttle in 2nd, and a tiny bit in 5th as well.

All in all, not a bad investment, since it didn't HURT anything, but I was expecting more.

Maybe since my original snub was still in excellent cond. at 72K, when I just changed it out?

yea, that could have been it, but im at 128k so mine might have been in a little worse cond.

like most people say, its different, but you cant tell how... kinda wierd, but worth the $20
