I don't think that's the way it works. Since you have 42k on it, and the car was first sold in Aug. 03', your factory warranty has already expired (Aug. 07'). From the mileage, it sounds like you already put 8k on it since you bought it. Your CPO warranty will expire in Aug. 09' (6 years from original purchase date), or 100k total vehicle miles, whichever comes first, not 100k miles since you bought it.

dealerships are fine, mine treats me exceptionally well. The service writer are people and hell if you go in with an attitude it's not going to work out well for you. If you treat them nice they normally with go out of their way to try and help you get what you need done.

I just bought the car in August this year. It was traded in by the original owner in August of 07. They traded it in with 42 thousand miles because their warranty was up since it has been 4 years. I bought it with 42 thousand so therefore I have until 92000 miles ( 50 k) or until August 2009 which is 2 years after purchase. I have only put 1000 miles on the car not sure where you got 8k from? Its currently at 43200 something.
Not quite sure where this is going however

To be honest this is the first car that I have owned that I really got in to. I don't know all the technical stuff and what all the parts are and I definently can't change my own oil. haha. So to be honest I am trying to see other peoples cars and what they have done to them. Any fast car that I have driven was basically made that way, a couple of years ago my b/f owned a srt-4 and I LOVED driving it, not for the luxury of course cuz there wasnt anything there. lol. but for the speed. Same with his M3. It is already made fast. I am reading on the chips and stuff because I definently want to make my car faster and get a bigger turbo and all that stuff. The only thing I am for SURE on, is getting my lowers painted and window tint since thats the ONLY thing I really know how to do it. ( well bringing it to a shop) haha. I am definently open to suggestions.
btw. Here is a picture of it after being clay barred and waxed ( I did it ALLLL by myself so im super proud, haha)

I saw your earlier post where you said you had 92k miles or the next two years left on your CPO warranty. I thought you had put 8k on your car already. Anyways, see my earlier post about the limits of your CPO warranty.
