Default so i decided to debadge..

looks great now, the debadging process is real easy...i used some goo gone to get the adhesive off....

but i have a slight problem.

on the side that the "A4" is on....99.9% came off...theres like a tiny spec..

on the "2.8 quattro" side...theres basically an outline of the whole badge left...its a greyish color. i rubbed and rubbed goo gone, i rubbed some light compound..and that didnt work..

it doesnt feel like adhesive anymore...its just a mark that outlines the badge. I just threw a light coat of wax over the areas to protect it, but im wondering, will that mark ever fade? I know a lot of you guys have debadged here so have any of you had this happen and then seen it dissapear?

Same thing happened to me, i ended up wet sanding it with 2000 grit sandpaper and then waxing is pretty good. It didnt completly go away but it looks better.

I just debadge mine today, i had the outlines of A4 and 1.8t so my pops told me to take some aqua fresh toothpaste and rub it on, says it worked when some tard decided to key his car. at first i was like wtf so i tried it and ya it did work. try takin some tooth paste to it. sounds wierd but it worked for me, mine is silver and my dads ride is pearl white. i dont know if colour of the car has anything to do with it but try it out.
