Can anyone recommend a specific product for the best grip when I re-badge the emblems?
There are about 5,000 types of double-sided tape.
Would any type of glue be a better idea, or should I stick with the tape?

Deff. dont use a glue... 3M has got to be the #1 adhesive co. out there, they will have what you need. Auto parts stores should have a section for these products by the paints and bondo.

so how would u take the emblems off the car in the first place?

 

All the emblems were off my car when I bought it but I think I like it that way. The only one I may put back on is the Audi symbol that goes on the trunk above the license plate.

 

It wasn't funny either time.....
