Default so many exhaust choices!

Right now I'm searching for a B5 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro, but until I find a good deal on one I'm going to entertain myself with parts shopping. All was well until I found a ton of choices for exhaust, does anyone have any input on my choices? So far I have narrowed it down to:

-Borla 2.25" stainless for $700
-APR 2.5" stainless for $1000
-Techtonics 2.5" stainless for $600
-GReddy 2.3" stainless for $690
-Milltek 2.75" stainless for $800

Right now the Milltek is my top choice because of the big diameter, The GReddy one is ugly but I'm a fan of the brand so I would look into it. The APR sounds good but too expensive if you ask me. Any input on any of these systems would be greatly appreciated, or if you have any suggestions about one I haven't mentioned that would be great too. Thanks!

Borla is the way to go. Such a sick sounding pipe. and it gives u some nice hp gains. plus its not too expensive and u got the 1 million mile warranty on it.

I did a video a while ago, of my 2002 1.8T with a Borla Cat-Back. Feel free to check out the video, but remember, it's not a B5, but close...

Well it sounds like Borla is a good choice at this point. But it has the smallest diameter piping, would I get more HP with any of the other systems do you think? I prefer the louder, meaner systems, but if a quiet one will give me horsepower, I'm down.

Somebody might have to correct me here but i've heard that if you go w/ a pipe that's too big and you don't plan on upgrading the turbo or stuff like that that you can actually lose power! btw i just installed Borla on my B5 about a month ago and i love it. It's got a nice, low, bass filled tone to it. There is a sound clip of it over at AWE tuning if that helps.

^^^[sm=icon_ladiesman.gif]. I believe its because you lose back pressure or something like that, but its true. All my friends with euro cars have borla, it just sounds so deep and throaty but not loud and overbearing until you mash the throttle and boom, damn I'm so jealous[>:]
