ahh well today i got some cheap *** springs they gave meand took them to get installed on my 2001 a4 1.8t manul fwd...well turns out theyre crap...the car sits nice up front but in the rear is higher than stock sport suspensioni think....im so pissed..any suggestions? what springs should i get now? im defenitely going to change them asap...i want a real nice drop something like the hr race..any pics guys? im going to install them myself...i watched the guy do it and its not very hard...need help quick i cant see my car looking like a dragster anymore

 

Who "gave" you the springs?

 

H&R race springs/bilstein sport shocks, 2.5in drop tucks a bit of tire in the back. i love it

 

yeah that looks good..isnt race springs 1.9 front 1.5 rear? my dads friend gave me the springs from his company....hp design ..the company that makes the evos most of us have...they suck *** i just dont even wanna see my poor car how it looks now...its like lifted from the back...put it this way..front has 1 finger gap...the bac has 3 finger gap...[:'(]

well...since he's a "friend"...see if he can get you some different back ones. only thing i can think of is somehow he put them in backwards, with the ones for the front on the back...making it sit higher because of the higher spring rate.

lol naw i dont drive a honda ...anyways im going tomorow to see if get some eibach sport line i think they told me? theyre suppose to give it like a 1.8 inch drop ..?anyone have these....where can i buy H&R race springs online? or neuspeed race springs? i cant seem to find them and ive searched but nothing

 

Just buy coilovers, and you will end the nightmare.

 

coilovers are definitely the way to go..a little hard work and you can find some very reasonably priced these days, even on a tight budget..
