Default some mod pizic's and new problems

Finally got my brakes and i have the joy of a nice BBK and the joy of being broke for a little. 996 porsche calipers and 13.1" rotors, ecs stage 2v2 kit. Install is going smothly about to start the rears tonight (just slotted crossdrilled rotors, SS lines and PBR ceramic pads) tommorrow and i had to order some maintinace parts while i stuck my head in the wheel well. Damn CV boot is torn, in the pic its at the rear of the boot, cant really tell but my damn wheels and wheel well can tell its torn. Grease is everywhere, so i got that and while i was looking around more i found my damn TRE's are shot and i though i should replace my valve cover gasket since the seal is not all that great. At this point i just stopped looking around, screw it, ill have to wait for next month to start looking around. Clutch is gonna have to be delayed until christmas or a little after. The pics of course.

looks awesome man, im thinking about getting these http://www.autoaccessorystore.com/ho...=detail&id=207 . Stock replacement brembo rotors and pads. crossdrilled and slotted. Just looking for better brake performance without the huge price tag that comes with full brake kits (bigger rotors, new calipers, and pads). It's not like im supercharging my 2.8 or anything like that, no need for huge brakes...plus i have stock 16's.

If they have kits for the 2.8 which im sure they do look into the A8 brake upgrade, i think around 350-400 for rotors, pads, and caliper carriers from ecs. 312mm rotors.

AHH good ole CV boot

Well the car is running good, since it has gotten a little cooler down in the dirty south. We had a few nights in the low 60s right after hurricaine wilma even into the high 50s and the car felt so fast. Good news about the kit though, i found a dyno about 15 mins away that no one in my area has heard of, the next closest was like 2+hrs, so i will be visting them shortly after my clutch, dont wanna dyno with the clutch slippin [:@]

Got a ? about the brakes, did you let all the brake fluid drain, or until it stopped dripping. I did, i wanted to kinda flush the system. I gotta do the rears too so there is gonna be some fluid there to when i put the lines in.

hoping to pay off the brakes this month get the clutch by christmas or sometime soon after and get any little buggs worked out and dyno mid january or so.

if your going to just put new fluid in just let them drain. it will drain individually from each corner but that doesnt mean all the fluid has left the system. so if the fronts have drained the rears are completley full and there will still be some old fluid in the front as well. when bleeding them its easy. just start with the side farthers fronm the resevoir and work up. connect a tube to the bleeder plug loosen it (make sure all the others are tight) and put the tube in some fresh fluid so you can tell when all the air has left the syster. continue pumping the fluid untill it appears clear. you will need a partner to do this BTW. its way easy though.

but no it wont just drain by its self, the break pedal will need to be pumped to remove the air and old fluid
