hey im droping my car off on tue picking it up on wed. im getting a 007 DV and a Carbonio cold air Intake. I have a 02 a4 1.8t with apr tuned 93oct. wondering if anyone has done work like this already and if they are happy with it, cant wait to see how it sounds and runs....

 

dude you don't have to drop your car off to get that done. Those are both pretty simple DIY's. especially the DV. It's a good way to learn about your car and it's fun! I was nervous about changing my DV but after I was finished I realized how easy it was and I felt stupid for even stressin it. But I had zero mechanical experience when I started working on mine. a big reason I did it myself is because I couldnt afford to pay someone to do it! haha!

 

you'll enjoy the difference of those two when you get your car back...i've talked to a few people who had that on and all loved it. not to mention how much better it's gonna look under the hood with that carbinio intake in there! enjoy the new toys!
