Default Some pics after coilover install B6 1.8t

Vogtlands from AZ group buy.
Left it a little high and I'll wait to see how it settles before readjustment.
Prior fender at center F= 26.5" R= 25.75"
Now- F= 25.5" R= 24.9"
Rear has settled already a little and I'm going to try and keep that at about 25".

And, was getting dark and have no clue how to work shutter speed or flash, and of course I can't hold still and have not tripod..... but my front is getting better (once I get the Ecodes and splitter on it will be OK):

No, the Vogtland GT was another group buy for the Canadians.
They are regular Vogtland. Still real nice. Feels like the stock sport but handles better. Not harsh at all.
The front should settle. It's a pain to adjust the fronts. Wheels were on and off already like 20 times. Rears are real easy and wheels don't need to come off. So I can play with the rear height. I had them at 25" and they've dropped already. Was trying to keep the same ratio it had stock, but to the eye the front needs to come down.
I can't go much lower in front with the 19's running 245 at et34. So, I'll wait a week, see how it settles, and re-adjust to even out before I go for alignment.

Cool, thanks! I'll always ask you then when someone else doesn't like it, lol....

Bubble gum. I mean, silicone rubber. Seems to be holding up fine.

It's nice. I had 355mm but they wouldn't fit over track wheels so I sold them and got the 332mm. They are very dusty so I'm switching out pads to Hawk HPS, which I'm running on the back. I have separate track pads for when I don't care about dust. But right now, my wheels turn black just from short rides. But the stopping is so much better than stock, for sure.

Looks very nice! Some proper 235 rubber will let you drop it lower!
I'm in Canada, and that Vogtland GT group buy was seriously tempting me. Had I not just blew all my money on wheels... *sigh*
I've already got FK Konigsports, but yeah, I want something else I think.

Any more mods in store?

Ecodes and splitter are only mods left; splitter is almost done and Ecodes will wait until next year.. I wanted 245 tires for more protection on the rims. Roads here suck.
Of course, I do want some real light track wheels instead of heavy clunkers I've got now, and I do want CPP adjustable control arms, and I do want S4 seats..... damn.... but I'm going to hold off, I hope.

Why not just clear the corners on your headlights? So so easy on the B6!
And yeah, I hear ya on the tire thing. I went with 235's on my B5... but I ended up caving and going with 225 up front because I was rubbing.
I went with S4 seats, too! B5 S4, though... B6 S4 seats are so insane... They must sell for a fortune in the used market.
