I like those little goldfish crackers. they're really tasty. make a nice light snack for those lazy days, you know the ones, usually sundays between football games like maybe you just watched cleveland and pittsburgh, and the seattle - denver game isn't on for another half hour. I like the goldfish crackers right around that time.

why are you running a BOV? That could be your problem. I know this has been talked about over and over.

I run a bov, whats it to ya? Stoprelyingon forum myths. A correct bov runs the same and has no negative affects.

No offense Cincy, I have had friends use BOV's in theirA4 1.8t'sand the all threw codes pretty much right away. I wasn't exactly relying on forum myths. I was relying on personal experiences of friends, my mechanic and my Audi dealership. Mayeb you are just one of the lucky ones that have not had any problems yet. As for me, I'll stick wtih reliability before anything else. You see I need my car everyday and don't have any extras. I treat her good and she does the same for me.

You cant throw ANY bov on your car. It has to be a twin piston bov or a ssqv (both closed at idle). You would think your friends would be smart enough to figure that out.

You seem to be taking this thread a little too personal. I was only letting you know what I have experinced in the past. by the way the valve that a few of them used was a hybrid version of the HKS SSQV.
