Haha, one of my best friends smoked some pure hashish and he drew a diagram of what he "saw" when he examined light. When he sobered up, he took the picture to his uncle, who is a quantum physicist, and the guy **** his pants. Apparently, his diagram shows what light is, and how it functions relative to our three-dimensional world. I have a copy sitting right next to me, but it's really trippy.
When I was doing my undergrad I did a considerable amount of my physics homework, and even some exams, stoned off my ***. It can aid your intuition, but slow your thought process. You may have heard of this, but if not you should check out quantum electrodynamics. It gets into the quantum nature of light, among other things. Its pretty trippy, and fascinating.

I'd smoke and do my math homework, except I'm so broke right now I can't afford to. I'm putting literally every penny I have into my car -- I haven't used my bank account for two weeks. Zero activity. (Minus buying gas, which is an absolute necessity in the physical world[:'(])

I know what you mean, though. Getting high and contemplating the unknown allows you to expand your knowledge and think of things that aren't logical -- but still theoretically propable. I'll have to PM you some of the **** I came up with, once I piece it all together.

The picture itself is useless without an explanation, and he's asked me not to show or tell anybody, since he's pretty set on getting a Nobel prize for this. It'd be cool if he did, because I helped him figure it out
