Default Something interesting happen yesterday

I was going to home yesterday late night and I came to my street. I stopped middle of the road because no car was around and I wanted to try something I had not try yet. I take the rpm about 5000, and leave the clutch. I heart squzi sound but car was stand still not even moved 1cm. and car start to cake off very very slow and pull it hard... I park my car like 1 min later because it was very close to my home and car was smelling very strong... I did not burn tire or something but smell was so strong (smelled like burn tire)...

I was thinking that my clutch is going to bad or somehing or what ? First time in my like something like this happen so no clue...

Thanks for the replies..

A quattro car will eat clutches, like a regular car eats tires. Dollar for dollar... clutch is probably cheaper -- unless you rip kumho's.

man... 5K is a little high for clutch dropping a stock car. Just because car and driver does it in a Viper... doesn't mean you can in an Audi. Remember: it's not their car. you also have quattro... huge pull on the clutch. You stopping then picking up is called bogging. you overloaded the engine, and it doesn't have the torque to launch the car at 5K...
