Default Something missing - SORRY DIDN'T MEAN TO DOUBLE POST

Hi Everyone,

You guys have been helpful thus far and I appreciate it but I was able to find a picture of the engine bay regarding the missing piece on my new Audi A4.
As some of you pointed out regarding all the pieces in the bay - with this picture I can tell you that the thing that is missing in my newly acquired car is the round grey thing right to the left of the ABS module. Please let me know what that is and if it is dangerous for me to be driving the car like this since some of you said it is part of the braking system. Sorry if I sound like I do not know anything but I am new to Audi - ask me about DSMs and I know but I am here to learn. Thanks

Oz

Thanks onepoint8tee - sorry about opening another thread, should I just not worry about the part then?
I just wanted to be sure it was ok.

Thanks again

What year is your car. On mine there is a small plastic cover over that area. No big deal.

Hi PandaXpress & david9999 - my car is a 2003 and yes it is a manual transmission. I appreciate the comments, thanks a lot. Hope to continue to learn as I enter into the world of Audi. So far aside from a small issue with my rims the car runs great. Love it. I've missed "boost" since I've been a builder/owner of a '90 talon awd before and my last car although very spacious was not too hot on the speed side (had an '05 Matrix XR)

Thanks again guys, not worried anymore.

Take it easy!!!
