I know this has been ask before..... i did a search but not what i need to know.... My Radio doesn't work ....a freind works at a dealer in New York where they have audi's, and I will be flying to New York tomorrow. So he told me to take my radio and he will swap it out.....i completely forgot to take it out today...so i am trying to do it now. but i dont have the tool. Is there another way i could do it and how do i take it out.
Ok.. first off what kind of car do you have? if its a b5.. should be pretty damn easy. But by the time you read this. you will already be in New York. But maybe you can be more descriptive next time. whats wrong with the radio? No power to it? doesnt turn on? doesnt have sound output? please help us help you by giving the best possible description Thanks
To my understanding most Audi radios pull out easily by inserting 4 pins in the 4 holes. Proper size nail will do. The head of the nails should be pushed toward the passenger door for the right side and toward drivers door for the left side while pulling outward gripping the cassette opening if you have cassette. release one side at a time.
