Source for Parts?
My 2000 A4 1.8tQ tiptronic now has 80K miles. Although the manual that came with the car suggests changing the timing belt at 120K miles (!), after reading about the early failures, I'm starting to lose some sleep.
time for a timing belt, tensioner, roller, waterpump, thermostat.
Also time to chang the transmission filter, clean the pan and swap out the oil in the differentials.
1. Did I miss anything?
2. Who do you recommend as a source for parts?
3. What are the choices for transmission fluid for the tiptronic? Pentosin or.....

RE: Source for Parts?
Maybe plugs, definitely cabin and air filters. Check the pH of your coolant to see if you need to change it. The litmus tests at the parts stores will show if the pH is too high. Check your vacuum hoses too. HTH
