Default Spark plug question

ok i think its just about time to change the plugs in the audi

i want to know if anyone has run the Bosch +4 platnium plugs, before i put them in my car?

i really don't want to put crappy plugs in the car, i want them to last with complete combustion

They are garbage, i ran the platinum 3s originally with my BT and i had tons of missfires and didn't run so smooth. Get NGK BKR6E's gap at .030" if you are chipped or .032" if you are stock, at ~$1.80 you cant beat them.

Skip the Platinum +4's.
I think Tom uses the NGKs too.
If you want muti electrode get the Bosch F7LTCR plugs. They are about $3.50 a piece. You can get them from AWE, Rock Auto, or many other places. They are the plugs that GIAC reccomends.

Why are the OEM NGK's so expensive on ECS Tuning?

That is a set of 4 platinum plugs. The NGK BKR6E's are copper plugs. You can get them at Advance Auto Parts or probably just about any other autoparts store.

I don't know much about spark plugs - are different kinds better for turbo vs. non-turbo? If so, any specific recommendations for a 2.8 12v?

Converted to inches for those not on the metric system

BKR6E's are a good choice... dont get platinums.. dont get irridiums.. just get some cheap ol coppers.

I thought it was .028 on a chipped car?
