Good question, im looking at new copper plugs, specifically NGK BKR7E, great plugs!!! deffinetly a neccesity for better driving and maintenance get them at sparkplugs.com.. the gappin is .032 .. well i dont kno what they recomend for stock plugs but that number is deffinetly familiar to me
I just put in some Bosch Doubles and they came pre-gaped. I check them again when I got home anyway and they were close enough for goverment work.
The last few people I helped with plugs all the plugs came pregapped from the dealer or if you get the right ones from the parts store they are already pregapped right. I could be wrong, in fact I might not have any clue what I am talking about on this. I have only just started to mess with the motor on this car.
But my car is running even better then ever now and I am getting the best gas milage I have ever gotten, with great throttle response. I would have to guess the plugs were gapped right or I would be fouling out and missing.
Enjoy,
