sparkplugs.. BKR7E's VS PKR7E's
just like the post says I need to know the difference.. I replaced my PKR7E's with BKR7'S and know have an odd misfire issue dont know if its the cause but it might be.. wanted to know what the differecne was..
Dont know about PKR7E, all i know is a lot ofthe BT guys here and on other sites like to use BKR7E. Do you get a CEL and fault code when it miss's? Make sure your gap is correct. If the gap is too big, high boost can actually blow out the spark and cause a miss. I was getting miss's at mid to full throtle before and diagnosed it as a coil pack issue, but it turned out to be a couple cracked plugs. Check that too. Ive never heard of anyone using PKR7E though.. Maybe try BKR7E and see what happens.
I have the BKR7E's in there now caped to .028, I noticed all the stems on the coil packs were a bit warn out and beat up.. can you just change out those for the 2000 a4.. i know you could with the AEB cars.. ill check all the plugs but they are a week old.. the car ran great for a few days.. I have no codes
