I have a 2001 Audi A4T with a Bose sound system. The speaker in the passenger door is scratchy and needs to be replaced. I understand that this problem is just about standard on these systems.

From what I understand, this speaker is a 4" Bose that has a 2 OHM impedence rating. I tried gettingreplacements at Circuit City and Best Buy but all they carry is 4 OHM speakers.

Is there anyone out there that has replaced these speakers, and if so, please let me know what I should do.

At this point I amat a loss to find the correct speakers. (I can do the installation). Also, I was told that a 5 1/2" speaker will fit?

look into some aftermarket speakers, they will sound better and probably be near the same price as one stock one.

 

i recently installed a new set of infinity 6" and 4" speakers and they sound great dont bother with circuit city and best buy if ur looking for stereo equipment go to crutchfield.com or something like that u get better deals and they send all the brakets and wires to install i understand that you can put 5 1/4" in the front which i was not aware of when i purchased mine but ud have to search that the installation was very easy only took me 30+min. to put all 4 in if u have any questions pm me
