Hi,

Just got a second hand speedo and connected it to the car, and when i put the key in the
immobilizer light starts to flash and the car tries to start then cuts out, does anyone have any ideas? does it need re programming?

Car is 97 A4 Avant TDI

Hey there was a thread about this the other day, cant seem to find it. Try a search on "immobilizer programing" or "new speedo". I think the answer was that you have to take it to the dealer to get reprogramed (unfortunately)... Not 100% positive, but definately try a search.
