SpeedTuning Review 1.8T*******
Glad to hear we have another happy customer! Thanks for the great write up.
For those who are interested and haven't gotten the SpeedTuning chip yet, group buy prices end on Dec. 23rd so get on it!

i called speedtuning yesterday and they said the sale was lasting through the end of the year but you might want to doublecheck on that first to make sure i wasnt just given some BS information.
How much was the shipping McGovs?
God... REVO or Speedtuning??? agh!! The thing is what happens if the dealership updates your software or flashes it for some reason??

The SpeedTuning chip is supposed to be undetectable by dealers but I'm not under a warranty so it didn't really cross my mind.

Yeah dealers don't just go and upgrade software, I don't think anyone will have a problem with that...
Oliver could have extended the Group Buy until the end of the month, I talked about it with him when I had mine done on the 23rd of Nov. and he said he would run it for another month.

so i got my ecu back today from speedtuning....and yet another very happy customer. they called me and said that my ecu had previously been chipped by some no name company cause it did not match up with the stock ecu settings. i just bought the car a couple months ago and the previous owner didnt say anything about it and it had no markings on it so i had no idea it was chipped. but anyways, they upgraded me to a stage 2 tuning for the same price since it was already chipped, and let me tell you, it pulls significantly harder than it ever did before. i havent gotten my boost gauge yet so i dont know what psi it was pushing before or what it is now with the new program. cant beat the bang for the buck!
Rather than make a new thread I'm updating my original review.
I installed my APR/VDO vent gauge this morning, which for someone who doesn't consider themself very mechanically inclined was cake, and now I have boost #s for this chip. In 1st spikes at about 8psi, 2nd hits at about16. In 3rd and 4th I'm spiking to about 19-20psi and holding at 14-15. The low #s in 1st and 2nd seem normal from what I read on recent thread about weird psi #s. So in all, for $125, I'm happy with the performance of my DD. Next up, shocks/springs, tint, clear corners and debadge.
