No, he's right. It's a good idea, but you have to be very careful with brake fluid. Very toxic stuff. Keep your hands clean from it, too.

lol - I am serious. Like Imola says - keep it off your hands for sure. Don;t put brake fluid on a painted floor of course.

Yeah after i read what brrrman it makes sense. Same thing with permanent maker on a white board. If it is there go hard over it with removable marker for white boards and then just simply wipe off. So i guess the same would apply here.

Kitty litter to sop up the oil.

Then get some tri-sodium phosphate (TSP) from the paint section of your local Home Depot. Mix with water and scrub it in with a scrub brush. Oil will disolve.

wide up all u can and then get some carb cleaner at pep boys or whatever and leave it for a while then wipe it up, depending on the size of the spill u may need to do it over and over. I was thold kitty litter will only absorb it if it is wet. I spilt some oil when draing it and used the carb cleaner.

Always have kitty litter in arms reach when changing your oil. Guess you lerned that the hard way. Did not know the break fluid trick, might try that on some spots that were there when we got the house. Oil spots can be a real pain.
