They would blow in a year or less.

depends, some springs are made to be installed without changing shocks. H&r , tein, and a few others make springs that can be installed succesfully without blowing shocks, and are purposely designed that way.

Ride on smooth roads and bends will be improved but where your feel its worse is in slow dips in the road where the shocks can't take up the slack so it will feel a little like a boat.

maybe a little but im sure not enough to improve much handling..

if you are going to do anything like that jsut go with aftermarket springs and shocks

im sure they are about the same price

which companies make springs that will work with stock shocks? i was looking at the H&R sport spring, does anybody know if these require upgraded shocks?

yes H&R make springs to go with the OEM shocks but i would just do like Bilstein shocks and H&R springs.

that is what most ppl do when they do suspension cause they dont want to spend the money on coilovers.

my car is a 2000 with only 57000mi... and i just want to lower it a little bit, just enough to hide the shocks from plain view. i was hopeing to get away with installing springs only. about how much are bilstein shocks?

It wouldnt be worth the effort to put on stock sport springs imo. If you are going to do something with the suspension id wait until you have enough money to do it the right way. the right way isnt always the most expensive either, so id first look at all of your options and see what suits your needs the best. I would look at some H&R/bilstein shock and spring combo either the sport or race. Coil overs are nice too.
