sport package springs w/non-sport shocks, what will happen?
Well you can get away for a while with just the springs but like i said i would try to do the combo
Bilstein shocks run about 130$ a piece thats if you want the sport shocks
you can also go with the heavy duty or the touring class shocks
hopefully that can answer your question

ok....i'm going to take my time over this since i'm not in any rush. i drive to school and don't really do any city 'run around' driving...i'm not really into heavily modifying my car either...i just don't like the body roll when i'm driving fast on the freeway, espically through curvy sections. after how many miles are you supposed to replace shocks anyway? maybe i'll change over to the H&R/Bilstein setup after they need replacing...and just ride the stock suspension until they give.
friend of mine has a gti which is lowered 1.5inches both front and back just with springs. he has been driving it for over a year has no problems. only diffrence is that the gtis are front wheel drive and why would your stock shocks would blow unless u lower it like 2 inches.
