yeah, replace the belt. its not impossible, but its not easy...somewhere in the middle. replacing the axle yourself could be tricky, unless you've got a garage filled with pneumatic tools and bearing pressers....I'd pay someone to do that...

belts + Audi = huge headache

Axle probably isn't much fun either.

You can def do both of them yourself if you are up to it. There are DIY writeups for both if you do some searching. Get a quote or two from a good independant shop and go from there. If you can get a decent price, sometimes it is better to pay to get it done instead of blowing your whole weekend doing it yourself. Not that I am against DIY, I do a lot more work to my car than the shop does, but those two items will be a pain.

Go to autozone buy a can of Belt Dressing, cheaper & easier than replacing the belt, and it may do the trick

Please don't think that anything that comes in a bottle or spray can willEVER fix what is wrong with your car.

Yes the belt dressing may stop the squeek for a little while. Dousing your axle in greese may stop it from making noises for awhile too. But both of them are making funny noises for a reason, because there is something wrong with them. You can spray stuff on there everyday, but eventually the belt will break and your CV joint or whatever is wrong will seize up. Bandaid away, but eventually the problem will catch up with you. Will you be sitting in the driveway reving the engine when it breaks or will you be 45 miles from home on some backroad at midnight? Good luck, but I don't like your odds.
