I thought Quattro benefited from more Torque, and FWD better with more
hp since its faster up top.

dont worry about tha. worry about numbers. a lot depends on setup, weight distribution, powerband. they run a 13.9-14.1 with a k04 and massive tuning, you could do that. a BT, low end BT even would rape it.

 

The sacrifice (shortning the life of your beautiful car) you would make is not worth it just to be able to beat a lil sh!! box on a drag race. My .02

but damn, those suckers are quick, after i got my car i thought i was hot ****, and my friend has an srt-4 needless to say i got put in my place, and havent been cocky about my car since

yeah except they can deffinatly run low 13's stock. my friend has a bone stock str-4 runs like a 13.1 and if you wanna beat one you could probably do it with a eliminator kit and you could do it for sure wiht a gt2871r maybe the disco potato to

 

i have a k04 with the basic programming. when i had the exhaust and test pipe on i took an srt-4 from a dig and a roll, but the kid sucked at driving so that might have affected it. i raced another while cruising with the stock exahust and cat and i got my *** handed to me. so i think a k04 with one of GIAC's aggresive files and some other supporting mods could take a srt-4 no problem. correct me if im wrong but pc-16 k04's have dipped into the 12's.
