Default Stage 1 and Intake

Hi I have a 2007 A4 2.0T quattro Tip and i really wanna fix it up. So far I have done exterior work such as tints and tinted taillights and eyelids. My next step is to stage 1 and intake. The intake im looking into is the Carbonio cold air intake http://www.ecodetuning.com/shop/cart...tail&p=641. Is this a good intake? My plan is to get the intake first then stage 1 what do you guys recommend i should do?

$322 for a deep growl sound and cool looking air box. Complete BS imo. But its your money. What do you mean stage 1???? How about save the money you were going to waste on an itake and put it towards a chip for some real gains.

Carbonio cold air intake is mainly for sound and look. No power gain at all.
APR software and testpipe are the main power gains, possibly an exhaust

I believe by stage 1 he means "Chipping" and intakes are worth it, IMO.. but I'd get an exhaust or testpipe first.. those will benefit your chip better

i would get the intake, it makes it sound way way better. and people always said WRX's are pointless to use an intake but i definately felt a gain when i put my intake in my dub

I just installed the carbonio about 3 hours ago; been drivin with the radio off all day, great sound. But I agree, when I realized that putting a chip in could have given me such gains, I regret the 300+ spent on the intake.

btw I have a B7 a4 as well
