Hey all, I have a 96' A4 that I am very emotionally attached to despite the long list of problems it gives me; one of which involves an issue with the car kind of "jumping" after being stationary -- usually occurs right after I've stopped at a light or in traffic or when i first drive the car in the morning. It almost feels as if the engine is about to die for a second or sputter out. Any advice on what may be causing this or what I can do to fix it? thanks --

could be bad plugs.. bad wires.... bad timing? .. any other symptoms? rough idle?

what model is your car? 12v? miles?

 

sounds like bad plugs and wires...there easy and cheap to change, go change them and see if thats the problem.,
