Ok, well I've searched and havent found an anwser, so don't flame, lol.

Well I have a 1998.5 Audi A4 1.8T Tiptronic, and for some reason it wont start at random times. I say random because it will start in the cold, even below freezing. The ONLY times I have problems with it starting is when I have ran it for a while (20 minutes+) and then leave for a little while (15 minutes or less) and then come back. It will not start unless i crank it long. It starts relectuntly after the long crank, with a low idle and then finally stablizes a couple seconds after. After I have it started however, I can restart it just fine. My friends think its the spark plugs, as I did run an Oil treatment in the car about 2 months ago to clear up some oil sludge. But this didnt start until about 3 weeks ago. Any advice would be great!

have it checked for fault codes even if the CEL isn't on there will be stored codes if there is a fault

 

Ive chceked for codes and I dont get anything....I'm gonna check again right after it happens to see if i get anything.
