I have an brand new 06' A4 2.0T and one of the options that came with the car is the dark walnut trim / Multi-function steering wheel.
It looks similar to the pic listed below, so use that as a reference point.
My question is this:
What would be a good suggestion for covering the top portion of the wheel. It looks great, but it tends to be a little "slick" for my taste and occasionally I feel like my hand is going to lose grip. The mid-section and sides of the steering wheel are covered with some of the nicest thin-leather grip I've ever felt on a wheel. Is there anything similar in an after-market product that I can add to the top portion? Any DIY ideas for makeshift solution that won't wreck the overall appearance of the steering wheel?
Please advise. Thanks!

Definately get some racing gloves
, I'd even be intimidated if you got out of the car with some of those bad boys on
Haha good idea. Start wearing a driving helmet everywhere you go too.ORIGINAL: A4speed

I'm into it.
When you see the guy in the gloves and helmut show up at the SoCal GTG....it's just me.
Everyone else - watch yourselves.
RE: Steering Wheel Issue......Need Suggestions / Advice
the glove isn't as daft as you might think don't think of your hands concentrate on the steering wheel
