Default Steering wheel shakes...?

hello eveyone,

when i drive my car, my steering wheel shake badly and the car start to lean to the right. does any have any suggestions on what it might be. i did change my brakes not to long ago, and they didn't do a good job. they also cut my rotors. Also it does it when i am driving slow. another question my car just went into 100,000 miles, all this time i've been useing 10-30 mobile synthetic. i have notice that i here a ticking sound when i start the car. do i need to put another or thicker oil? or can i use a lucas treatment?
thank you in advance.

2000 A4 quattro 1.8T MTM chip.

sounds like alignment, shaking could be from being unbalanced too

thats what i thought but when its alignment it will shake when ur going more than 30mph or so. i will be going 10mph and it feels like there is something stuck to my tires. i have check already and nothing. and also today i notice when i was going like 60mph and the road would be alittle bumpy, when the car suspension went down, a noise came from the inside of the car by the steering wheel, like a rubbing noise.

Could be a tie rod is bent...
Are you sure everything went back the right way after the suspension job? bolt loose/missing?

Stop using 10-30... Audi recommends that if you use mobil 1, use 0w40.

As for the shakes... lots of those big franchised shops offer free, or cheap front end inspections. Dooo it!

I would say alignment, but how old are your tires, as they wear the balance changes and that can give a shake in the stearing and a pull. The problem is if you go to a repair shop they are going to say its a conrol arm and charge you an A$$ load so start small and work your way up. If you need tires get them, if you dinged a rim fix it. if they are ok check tracking, then get ito control arms etc,

jack up one side at a time, put it on a stand, and by hand at tire move tire back and forth,up and down, and check all parts for wear
