ok so it might me a noob question but ... today my stereo displayed the word "shorty" on the radio screen ...
how , why? I guess I just wasnt aware that this was a feature on the car...? dont know why it said "shorty" maybe previous owner
but even then... any explanation would be usefull... as long as i know i wasn't seeing things..

 

IS your rds light on the radio on? That is the radio display secondary. It provides station and song info on stations that are capable of providing such info.

 

yea its the radio song recognition system....im guessing the song was "shorty wanna ride with me" by y. buck?

 

OR your radio has a secret camera in there and looking at you lol

yea the song name thing is kinda wired sometimes maybe it just froze on that word lol

 

yea alot of times the word stays there for awhile.

mine does it all the time ( get rid of passengers and enjoy ) it could be something to to with body frequencies like I don't like you because your a short *** ( nothing personal ) sort of thing, you never know
